About this file
This briefing document outlines requirements for the Air Combat Training Systems Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering contract. Key details include that the contract will provide non-personal services including operating and maintaining airborne instrumentation systems, ground stations, electronic and computer systems supporting 14 Air Force bases and combat training centers. It will also include engineering support for radio, transceiver and network systems. The pre-brief covers workload estimates including projected quarterly sorties, required support windows and timelines for mission monitoring, replay and debriefing. A site visit to Seymour Johnson Air Force Base is outlined, including an introduction, tours of facilities and equipment, and a question and answer session. The associated federal contract opportunity provides additional context, with a description of the services sought and instruction to submit feedback on draft documents by March 9th, 2022 to inform the acquisition strategy for this requirement.
