About this file
This Performance Work Statement outlines requirements for laundry services at Fort Tuthill/Luke Air Force Base Recreation Facility under a planned Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). The contractor must provide freshly laundered sheets, pillowcases, towels, mops, and floor mats on a weekly basis, with deliveries scheduled twice per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 0800-1500 hours, plus emergency weekend service capability.
Key requirements include: providing quality linens free of defects; maintaining a reject bin system for defective items; supplying laundry bags and storage bins; following specific delivery procedures with employee verification; weekly inventory management with recommendations; bundling items in consistent commercial quantities; and submitting weekly itemized statements. Notable restrictions prohibit charging for minimum inventory services, unused linens left over one week, or price variations based on color choices. The contractor cannot hold Fort Tuthill responsible for normal wear and tear replacement costs. Deliveries must be made to the outside housekeeping room, with used linens picked up from the maintenance area storage facility.
