About this file

This is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document for a Request for Information (RFI) dated 03 April 2026. The document addresses clarifications regarding firmware upgrades and equipment relocation for an Access Control System (ACS) project involving multiple buildings.

The firmware upgrade scope encompasses five buildings: Building 4413 (355 OSS), Building 4837 (563 OSS), Building 1610 (55 RQS), Building 4843 (48 RQS), and Building 4836 (79 RQS). The Central Manager, Event Manager, and Enrollment Manager v5 devices are expected to require firmware updates as well. Regarding equipment disposition, once equipment is removed from Building 4837 during a remodel, no equipment will be reinstalled into that building; contractors should refer to the Statement of Work (SOW), Section C, iii for additional details. The project is contingent upon completion of an IDS firmware upgrade to Windows 10, which is scheduled to begin in August 2026. According to Mr. Burrola of 355 SFS, the required systems must be upgraded before the August deadline.
