About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for solicitation FA485526Q0006, a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by the 27th Special Operations Contracting Squadron for clerical and office administrative support services at Base Training and Education Services (BTES) office, Cannon Air Force Base, New Mexico. The requirement is for 0.75 FTE (approximately 1,550 hours annually) of administrative support to be performed by a single employee under the General Clerk II labor category (DOL code 01112) with wage determination 2015-5457 Rev 29. The contract is a Best Value procurement with no maximum ceiling value specified, and the previous contract (FA485524P0002) was worth $35,755.20. The revised quotation due date is February 18, 2026, at 2:00 PM MST, with an anticipated award date of March 1, 2026, and performance beginning immediately upon award with no separate onboarding period provided.
Key requirements and clarifications include that contractor employees must obtain and maintain a U.S. Air Force global email account and hold a security clearance, requiring only a standard National Agency Check (NAC) for base access. No overseas training is required, and the contract manager is not required to be on site. Resumes may be submitted upon award rather than with the proposal, and candidates may be replaced post-award if they meet qualifications. The solicitation uses NAICS code 561110 (Office Administrative Services), and no past performance is considered neutral in evaluation; commercial past performance is acceptable. Common issues noted include incorrect invoicing into WAWF by prior contractors. The government does not anticipate full-time hours and confirmed that no SF-1449 form is required, with submission instead using the attached combo document from the SAM posting.
