STATEMENT OF WORK

Electrical Load Update, Bldg 593 and 679

27th Special Operations Maintenance Squadron, Cannon AFB, NM 27 June 2024

1. GENERAL INFORMATION: The contractor shall provide all required components, tools, and equipment necessary to install the 400 Hz Frequency Converter in accordance with this Statement of Work (SOW).

1.1 DELIVERY DATE: Delivery and installation of the 400 Hz Frequency

Converter shall be completed no more than 30 days after award of contract.

1.2 HOURS OF OPERATION: Contractor personnel shall perform the installation during normal business hours (7:30A.M - 4:30P.M) until completion. Exceptions to those hours will be weekends, holidays (which include New Year's Day, Birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr. Washington's Birthday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth National Independence Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Verterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day), and AFSOC indicated down days. Schedule coordination will be conducted at contract award.

2. POC INFORMATION: Name and point of contact information will be provided upon award of the contract.

3. SCOPE OF WORK: This specification establishes the minimum requirements for installation of Electrical Load Update at building 593 – 27 SOMXS, In Mechanical room and building 679 - 27 SOMXS, at the HVAC PAD

3.1 The space where the frequency converter will be installed is specific. For installation purposes, a building layout is provided in attachment 1.

3.2 Once the contract has been awarded, it becomes the responsibility of the contractor to validate the actual site conditions. It is understood that the actual site parameters may require electrical work that is not specifically spelled out in this Statement of Work and may cause an increase in the price submitted during the bid process which must be documented in writing and submitted to the Contracting Officer for review.

4. REQUIREMENTS: The required work shall be performed in accordance with this

Statement of Work and all applicable Federal, State and Local laws and regulations:

DAMAGE/SAFETY: The Contractor shall conform to the safety requirements contained in the contract for all activities related to the accomplishment of the work as required by OSHA. The Contractor shall provide protection to government property to prevent damage during the period of time the property is under the control or in possession of the Contractor. Any damage caused by the Contractor during installation is the responsibility of the Contractor and must be reported to the Contracting Officer or designated Contracting Officer Representative promptly (within two (2) hours) along with all available facts relating to each instance of damage to government property or injury to either Contractor or Government personnel.

5.3 UNSATISFACTORY PERFORMANCE: Unsatisfactory performance shall result in work being re-accomplished at the Contractor’s expense with no additional cost to the Government.

5.4 PHOTOS: No worker will take photos at any time while in building 593 and 679.

5.5 STORAGE: The Contractor shall store and safeguard materials until the contractor has prepared the worksite for installation. No storage is available on Cannon AFB unless authorized by the CO.
