Statement of Work Replacement of 3 Floating Docks / Repair of 3 Floating Docks – Grassy Pond

1. Scope The project involves the design, fabrication, removal, repair, and/or installation of six (6) floating docks at Grassy Pond located at 5360 Grassy Pond Rd, Lake Park, GA 31636. The damages were incurred during a recent storm, necessitating the replacement and/or repair of the floating docks. The objective is to fully replace three (3) floating docks and to repair three (3) floating docks with galvanized steel floating docks on the main lake at Grassy Pond and at Mission Lake.

1.1 Background

23 FSS strives to meet the needs of our customer base. Grassy Pond currently has 5 floating docks in need of replacement and/or repair and Mission Lake (MAFB) currently has one (1) floating dock in need of repair due to Tropical Storm Debby and Hurricane Helene damage. Grassy Pond and Mission Lake are not able to fully supply the demand for floating docks to our customers due to the damage sustained by each of them. This has a direct, negative impact on the health of the MWRF. Replacing this floating dock will allow Grassy Pond to recover these lines of income in support of the MWRF.
