About this file

This is a FAQ document with photos regarding the replacement of a walk-in cooler/freezer combination unit at Moody Air Force Base. The unit requires 30 AMP power supply for both cooler and freezer sections, features right-swinging doors (34" x 77") with viewing windows, and will be installed on an existing concrete pad. The installation includes internal ramps, and the unit connects to the building's interior near the kitchen area. The scope includes removal and disposal of the existing custom-built unit. Technical specifications detail door components including Component Hardware hinges, Kason hydraulic door closers, and various safety features. The facility operates Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with weekend work possible with 24-hour notice, and the project must be completed by March 2025.
