About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for a federal cleaning services contract opportunity. The incumbent contractor is VIAKORP CORP, which held contract number FA480925P0001 with a previous award amount of $1,118,700.00 for a base year plus four option years. The Performance Work Statement (PWS) has been revised for this new effort. The scope involves full turnover cleaning services for cottages at Blakeslee Rec Area, with varying bedroom sizes (1, 3, and 4-bedroom units). Based on 2025 occupancy data, contractors should expect approximately 206 total cleanings in Q1, 654 in Q2, 672 in Q3, and 306 in Q4. The quantities listed (450/1,000/800 per year) represent maximum units the government may outsource, not guaranteed minimums, as service calls are on an as-needed basis.
Key operational requirements include: all cleaning supplies must be contractor-furnished; each cleaning represents a full turnover service with no varying service levels; laundry services are handled by government staff with clean linens provided at building 143; billing shall be based on the number of units cleaned per month; and contractor staff need only wear a company shirt for identification (no ID badges required). Staff names and background information may be provided after award approval. No page limit applies to submissions, and no restrictions exist on cleaning product types. Performance windows for turnovers are detailed in the PWS, and a Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan will be developed after contract award. Prospective contractors should submit all offers to billy.parham.1@us.af.mil and jason.endicott@us.af.mil.
