About this file
This document contains questions and answers related to solicitation number FA480323Q0001 from the Department of the Air Force Air Combat Command for washer and dryer lease and maintenance services at Shaw Air Force Base. The incumbent contractor is Diversified Service Contracting, Inc. under contract number FA480318C0003, which averages one maintenance call every two weeks. The requirement is for 135 washers, 135 dryers, and 7 combo units to be installed within 5 business days. The government will allow additional time if needed but the new contractor must be prepared to install upon award or compensate the outgoing vendor. The market research determined adequate small businesses can perform the work, so the procurement remains set aside for small businesses only.
