About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for a Lodging Laundry Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) at Ellsworth Air Force Base. The Q&A addresses two key inquiries: pricing methodology and item quantities. Regarding pricing, the government confirms that while the bid initially specified a per-piece rate, contractors can submit proposals on a per-pound basis, which aligns with current facility practices. The SOW section 2.1 supports pound-based pricing, and contractors must provide scales at each drop-off and pick-up location.
The related federal contract opportunity (Solicitation FA469025Q0007) is a non-appropriated fund purchase for laundry and dry-cleaning services at Ellsworth AFB. The contract requires the contractor to provide personnel, equipment, transportation, and supplies for laundry services, including customer pick-up and delivery. The procurement is managed by the Department of the Air Force Air Combat Command, and the solicitation emphasizes that this is not a federal tax dollar expenditure but rather funded through military community-generated revenues.
