Revised on 31 August 2021 Questions and Answers
1. Do you want per pound rate or per item rate to assure the right quote?
a. Please refer to the revised Performance Wok Statement answer will vary depending on unit. Lodging, Contrails, AMXS and MXS will be counted by article. Medical Group will be counted by weight.
2. If this is not a new requirement, who is the incumbent? What is the current value of this contract?
a. The most recent contracts were BPAs awarded in FY16. FA468616A0009 and FA468616A0010. Contractor can look up contract to get incumbent information and dollar amount.
3. Are the estimated quantities given annually for each?
a. The PWS has the quantities needed for each unit for the schedule service. Any change to the quantities would incur a contract modification.
4. Table 3. Lodging & Table 4. Contrails Dining Facility- I see “Bundled by” but no quantities, can you tell me the Quantity of each item?
a. Lodging: The bundle quantities are just that; what is expected as packed in each set of returned clean linens. The total quantity of bundles needed for service depends on how much dirty linen was turned in previously to maintain our operating stock; the quantity for service will vary based on this.
b. Contrails: napkins (red) 100, napkins (white) 100, tablecloths (red) 75, tablecloths (white) 75.
5. Table 7. Linen Items- “Supplied by Contractor” Would I calculate the Dry Wt. Per Item, Bundled by, with Qty., as a fixed weighted rate?
a. Yes
6. Table 7. SCRUBS- Is the Quantity per each item, “# Per Size” amount?
a. Yes
7. Table 5. & Table 6. Shop Towel- I see “bundled 250”. Would each Department have an Inventory of 250 on hand?
a. Each department needs their own inventory. The Aircraft Maintenance Squadron needs 250 shop towels and the Maintenance squadron needs 500 shop towels for each shop listed under paragraph 6.2. Amount traded in each week will depend on workload/usage.
