About this file

This document is a Questions & Answers (Q&A) file for solicitation FA466125Q0187, providing clarifications for contractors regarding electrical installation requirements. The Q&A addresses seven key points about wall penetrations, electrical work, and installation specifications, including: wall penetration is allowed if utilities are not damaged (with required repairs and painting), no prior permits were pulled for electrical points, contractors can use existing conduit runs meeting NEC requirements, and conduit can be run on walls at a minimum height of 30 inches off the floor. The document notes the facility has a 27-foot floor-to-roof height and that no as-built electrical floor plans are currently available. A structural subject matter expert (SME) may be consulted to confirm compatibility of components with existing installations.
