About this file

This Statement of Work details requirements for a Weapons Storage System for the Department of the Air Force Global Strike Command. The system must include a high-density mobile shelving system with universal weapons racks capable of securely storing 30 M16 rifles, 120 M4 rifles, 90 M18 pistols, and spare barrels. Specific technical requirements include fully welded heavy-gauge steel cabinets with perforated mesh doors, stackable two-level configuration, surface-mounted beveled rails installed directly on concrete, and a carriage lock for secure positioning. The racks must meet precise dimensional specifications, with 42-inch and 22-inch width options, and be designed to withstand extreme temperatures while preventing weapon abrasion. The solicitation (FA462625Q0061) seeks one stationary weapons rack range with two mobile carriages, 22 universal weapons racks, two surface-mounted ADA-compliant rails, and a carriage lock system that fits specific spatial constraints outlined in the document.
