About this file

This document provides questions and answers regarding a dormitory access control system replacement project at an Air Force base. The project involves replacing 1,040 locks in 11 dormitory buildings with the ONITY access control system. The locks currently installed are HD 24 ONITY locks. The exterior doors are metal while interior doors are wood. The exterior door frames do not contain concrete. A site survey can be scheduled upon request. Door wraps may not be required if sticking with the ONITY brand. The government is looking into options for paying for the locks upon their arrival at the base. The related solicitation is for dormitory access controls with identification number FA462622QLOCK from the Department of the Air Force Global Strike Command.
