Amendment 1: Questions and Answers

Site Visit

There will be a site visit 16 May 2024 at 10 AM Central Time. Offerors will meet at the

Wastewater Treatment Plant (875 SE 170, Knob Noster, MO 65336). Only two attendees from each company shall be allowed.

RSVP NLT 2 PM Central Time, 13 May 2024 to the email address in the solicitation with the:

• company name

• attendee name/email address/phone number

Questions and Answers

1. Is the use of a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), in lieu of traditional relays and timers acceptable?

a. No. The Government does not consider the use of a Programmable Logic Controller

(PLC) in lieu of traditional relays and timers to be acceptable.

2. Is there a cost estimate, budget or ballpark figure for the project listed?

a. No.

3. Is there an actual start date for the project?

a. IAW paragraph 6.3 of the PWS “The Period of Performance (PoP) shall be 6 months from the signing of the award. All removal, fabrication, installation, and troubleshooting shall occur within the PoP.”

b. IAW paragraph 3.3.1 of the PWS “Installation shall begin following fabrication and must occur and be completed within 30 days of existing panel removal.”

4. We would like to know if this is a brand new contract OR if there is (was) an incumbent performing these services.

a. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a new acquisition yet to be awarded.

5. If not brand new, could you please provide the current / previous contract number?

a. See question 4.
