About this file
The document is a Questions & Answers (Q&A) file for Fiscal Year 2026 Protestant Chapel Musician services (Solicitation FA462125Q0020) at McConnell Air Force Base. Key details include: the current contract (FA462121C0005) was awarded in 2020 for $57,047.40 and is being recompeted, with the incumbent currently fulfilling the contract using two musicians. The solicitation requires a musician to be present 30 minutes before worship services, coordinate with chaplains, and remain for the entire service duration.
The Q&A addresses specific contractor requirements, including base access restrictions. Notably, one question confirms that an ex-convict would be denied base access due to ongoing state control. The contract is for a single award, with the musician responsible for rehearsing with the choir, coordinating with chaplains, and performing music throughout the approximately one-hour worship service. The document references additional details in the Performance Work Statement (PWS), specifically Section IX on Security and Section IV regarding musician responsibilities.
