SUBJECT: Solicitation Questions & Answers for FA461324Q0010 B34 Purchase and Install

Carpet, FE Warren AFB, WY

Q1: Is there a cost estimate, budget or ballpark figure for the project listed?

A1: No cost estimate provided. See “Atch 1 Statement of Work 26 Feb 24” for carpet choices and work required.

Q2: Is there an actual start date for the project?

A2: Performance is for a duration of 30 calendar days after award, however, depending on carpet materials receipt/delivery due to lead times, we will be able to adjust Period of Performance (PoP) start date.

Q3: Can we request a site visit?

A3: Yes, a site visit must be submitted in writing no later than 11:00 am MST, Monday 18 Mach 2024. Once the CO/CS receives the names of the participants, they will meet at the FE Warren AFB Visitor’s Center on Tuesday, 19 March at 9:15 am MST to be sponsored on base. If participant has base access, please proceed to Building 34 at 9:30 am MST.

Q4: Incumbent Contractor: Could you please share the name of the incumbent contractor for this work?

A4: There is no incumbent contractor. The carpet installation is competed amongst small businesses, but the Air Force has a pricing agreement with the direct carpet manufacturers listed in the PWS. It is up to the contractor to negotiate their prices with the carpet manufacturers.

Q5: Contract Number: What is the existing contract number associated with this project?

A5: There is no existing contract for B34 carpet installation.

Q6: Contract Value: What is the total value of the current contract?

A6: There is no contract, therefore, no value associated.

Q7: How will the contractor be able to access the building to complete the task? Will there be an escort, or will the contractor be given some type of access for entry into the building?

A7: Base contractors receive a badge to access base during working hours. The building tenants will be aware of the work being performed, who the awarded contractor is and when work is expected to be completed. All scheduling coordination must be done with Project Manager, Mr.

Q8: How long do bids have to be good for?

A8: 30 days.
