About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) for Hood and Duct Inspection Services. The RFI clarifies key details about the scope of inspection services for two dining facilities: Breakers and Beachcomber. The requirements specify two semi-annual inspections per year for all hoods, ducts, and fire suppression systems, with no additional monthly cleaning or maintenance tasks.
The document details specific inspection requirements for Ansul fire suppression systems, confirming that units at Beachcomber (Units 1-4) and Breakers (Bakers Hood, Global Grill, NRich, Kitchen Main Line -2 hoods) are to be inspected twice annually. The contract scope is explicitly limited to inspection and reporting, with no provisions for recurring cleaning or maintenance services. The responses definitively state that only inspection services are required, with a focus on system re-certification and reporting.
