1.0 Background cover sheet or appendix
This furniture request is in conjunction with the current 49th Test and Evaluation Squadron (TES) renovation project, located at 313 Lindbergh Road East, Building 6413, Barksdale AFB, LA 71111, rooms 11 0A, 11 OB, 11 OD. The 49TES secure space is currently under renovation/expansion and requires new furniture to accommodate a significant increase in size, personnel, and mission support systems. The construction of the facility is scheduled to end on 04 December 2024, at which time we will commence with alarm installation. Furniture must be installed in conjunction with or immediately following alarm installation so as to be in-place prior to the alarm burn-in period.
2.0 Scope
The 49TES requires specialized furniture due to the number of systems that will be required at each desk. These specialized desks must be able to house, provide power and cable/wire management, and cool 6-7 computers (PC/Thin Clients), 2 x 27" monitors (mounted on arms to not interfere with workspace), 2 telephones, and up to 5 scanners as annotated in the chart below. Conference tables, 10' & 12', will need to have multiple power & communication ports as noted on the attached equipment listing.
Printer credenza, 39"x 24"x72", with storage capability will be needed to support 5 printers and printing supplies. Maximum dimensions for all furniture items are annotated in the chart below. Desks may be in cubicle form to support power and data lines; however, cubicle walls, if any, may not exceed 48" so to maintain an unobstructed view of the facility.
For this project we require the following product types:
