SUBJECT: Amendment 05, Solicitation FA460825QC002, 49th TES SCIF Furniture
1. The purpose of issuing Amendment 05 is to provide the government’s answers to the questions submitted in accordance with (IAW) the timeline identified in the SAM.gov posting.
2. The questions and answers are listed below. Please be advised, the answers are in bold.
Question 1: RM110A Please confirm the storage requirement per desk in regards to pedestals (3 drawer or 2 drawer)
Answer 1: 3- drawer is preferred.
Question 2: RM110A Please confirm which door is the main entrance as desk are suppose to face it but it is not identified
Answer 2: Desks will face the East wall (towards the main entrance).
Question 3: RM110A Are desk required to have large corner worksurfaces instead of straight worksurfaces?
Answer 3: No. (monitor will not be tucked into the corner of the desk).
Question 4: RM110A Are all desk in this room to be L shaped?
Answer 4: Yes (3 right, 3 left).
Question 5: RM110B Your written request says straight desk, but the drawing shows L shaped. Please confirm requirement.
Answer 5: Desk will be straight unless they fit better L-shaped (the desks on the drawing were based on assumption); this will be a collaboration space. Can you provide an expert solution?
Question 6: RM 110B Please confirm VTC location since desk need to face it. Center of the room is not possible due to needing wall electrical and space available to enter desk.
Answer 6: VTC is on the South wall (Desks may also face the center of the room if they fit better that way. I assumed if the desks were able to face the center of the room, they would be L-shaped to avoid tripping over cables). I would like to see your expert solution.
Question 7: RM110D Please confirm desk location in drawing as it is not shown there. If drawn table size is required desk will not fit.
Answer 7: Conf table is expected to be 120”x48”. The desk will in the back east corner of the room facing the VTC on the west wall. If this is not possible, please submit a solution.
Question 8: RM110D Please confirm that no electrical is required in this table. If so then we want a clear definition of what that is.
Answer 8: Conf table will have two dual sided ports for: power (x4 outlets each) and one 2” work surface grommet for VTC controller wiring.
