About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for the 49th IS Carpet Replacement solicitation. The key update addresses the SCIF door removal, which has been definitively removed from the solicitation's scope of work. The Q&A clarifies that contractors no longer need to handle door removal, and previously referenced paragraph 3.2 is no longer applicable to the project.
The associated federal contract opportunity is a solicitation by the Department of the Air Force Air Combat Command for carpet and vinyl flooring replacement. The project requires removal and installation of carpet and vinyl, with a pre-proposal site visit scheduled for 18 August 2025 at the Offutt Visitor Control Center. Technical questions are due by 20 August 2025, with answers provided by 22 August 2025. Quotes are due by 10:00AM CDT on 28 August 2025, with an offer acceptance period valid through 30 September 2025. Quotes and pass requests must be submitted via email to specified Air Force contacts.
