About this file
Attachment 1 - Salient Characteristics is a detailed specification document for a custom EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) mobile trailer designed to support 6 technicians in extreme environments, specifically for the Department of the Air Force Global Strike Command. The trailer requires a minimum 8.5'W x 48'L configuration with 8.5' interior head space, featuring comprehensive interior amenities including sleeping quarters for 6 persons, full kitchen with refrigerator and stove, bathroom facilities, workspace with 6 laptop-capable workstations, UTV/ATV storage, a 40Kw generator, and advanced technological features like dry erase walls, TV mounts, and a wall-mounted security safe.
The exterior specifications include multiple entrances, an awning, outdoor kitchen, exterior lighting, and blackout window tinting. Additional unique requirements include an integrated air compressor, insulated water tanks and plumbing lines, heat pads under tanks, and a sound system. The trailer is intended to function as a mobile command center for full-spectrum nuclear operations, designed to provide a reliable and comfortable environment for EOD personnel operating in harsh conditions like those found in North Dakota. The document suggests the trailer will be built on a pre-existing exterior frame with custom interior design and functionality to meet the specific operational needs of the EOD team.
