Site Visit 10 July 2025, Building 794 DAFB – CTK Video Surveillance System
Amendment 0002
1. Will the Surveillance Cameras Salient Characteristics list be updated with the proper camera counts and proper NVR TB Recorder to reflect 6 months recording as mentioned on the site visit?
0. Yes, with this amendment, see attachment
1. Will NVR be recording 24/7 or on motion?

1. Will this be rigid or emt conduit being used and / or can we reuse existing?
2. There is no conduit currently encasing the camera system currently in place. The most economical approach is requested.
1. Who is responsible for demo of existing?
3. Contractors. The Air Force wants to keep the working cameras and put them aside prior to installation of new.
1. Are we adding Facial Recognition licenses?
4. We request a 180-day, no cost, demo package.

1. We discussed the need to read serial numbers and typeface/font in recorded footage of equipment on the Inspection Tables. What is the minimum font/typeface size (in points) that needs to be legible? (Reminder: One point = 1/72 of an inch).
9. Camera specifications are updated, please see attachment salient characteristics that is updated since the site visit.
1. Will the Aisle camera’s view activity from both ends simultaneously, or just from the Inspection Table end?

2. Tamper-poof not required, no conduit is currently in place w/ existing system. Government defers to RFP for best solution and value proposed.
1. Please confirm the requirement for 6 months of recorded video storage.
12. 3 Month storage is officially the request, not 6 month.
1. Will the new system be in the same location as the existing system?
13. This will be specifically discussed post-award. The general locations of the server and cameras you saw at the site visit, and that are currently installed are good guidelines as to where the new system will be.

1. If yes, can existing conduit be reused?
15. No conduit is currently in place.
1. Is the contractor responsible for removing all existing cameras and mounts?
16. Yes, and some Air Force personnel will be helping because the cameras will be boxed up and used somewhere else.
1. Is the contractor responsible for removing all existing cables?
17. Yes, Airmen will be available day of to assist.
1. There was a high reach lift on-site, will it be available to the contractors if needed?
18. Yes, we have high reach and coordination to use the equipment with Government assistance, is possible.
1. Is backup power required for the entire system?
19. No
1. If so, how many hours of backup power are required?

1. The tool crib manager stated he wanted to zoom into each tool as it passed through the cage window and read the Worldwide Identifier, please provide clarification (or a performance specification) for this request.
21. The distances required to zoom in are to items within the cage dimensions. Please provide a solution where a camera could read font when zoomed in.
1. The tool crib manager stated he wanted "Facial Recognition" for the "Eye in the sky" cameras, please provide clarification (or a performance specification) for this request.
22. We request a 180-day free trial facial recognition software to be utilized on select cameras. These cameras will be specified during the post-award site visit.
