QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
1. When the contract has been awarded to the new Prime, will they be responsible for purchasing the cleaning supplies?
Is correct.
2. Since this contract is on the US Consulate installation, who will be responsible for getting access for the cleaning employees?
Service will be performed on a Portuguese Air Base on Terceira Island, Azores, Portugal. 65CONF will be the Point of Contact to submit Base Access.
3. Are there any current housekeeping employees working on this project, if so are they able to be rehired on the new company contract?
Portuguese law has certain requirements. Please consult these requirements if you are to submit and offer.
4. Will the areas that needs service performed require some form of security clearance?
Security clearance is not required at this time
5. The covid‐19 has prompted many organizations to require face masks to enter some facilities, does this contract require the same protection equipment?
Portuguese Government has required the use of face masks while performing work.
6. Is there a limit on the number of employees assigned to work on this project?
No.
7. What is the schedule of payment and the preferred method of payment?
Payment occurs monthly and there’s no preference.
8. We would like to request a site visit in‐order to get a better understanding of your organizations requirements.
One has already taken place and that another one will only be done if enough potential offers request it. If another is to occur Government is not responsible for any expenses.
9. When the contract has been awarded to the Prime, will the prime be responsible for acquiring quarters or housing for the employees?
No.
