About this file
This document contains questions and answers regarding the OHAS Jumbotron and Live Stream Broadcast for the 2025 Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst Open House and Air Show. The opportunity requires producing 10 videos (1-5 minutes each) with professional graphics, animations, and on-screen elements consistent with the OHAS brand. Filming will occur over three days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), including recording a video for playback and live interactions within the primary spectator area. The contractor will create simple overlay graphics, with the government providing first draft scripts, on-screen subjects, and pre-produced video examples for style reference.
Key technical specifications include no aerial/drone footage, simple graphic overlays (no 3D animations), and optional subtitles for host commentary. The production will cover multiple content types, such as military working dog demonstrations, servicemember weapon competitions, and performer interviews. The contract is for the Department of the Air Force Air Mobility Command, with a period of performance from 15-19 May 2025, targeting a 125,000-person crowd both in-person and virtually. The pricing arrangement is firm fixed price, with the government seeking clarity on specific production/broadcast equipment requirements to ensure consistent bidder comparisons.

Project Scope & Content - Questions
1. You mentioned that you want content to fit the feel of the rest of the produced content: Can you provide examples of previous videos to match the style and feel?
The style for any graphics produced is in-line with the OHAS brand/logo. We will provide 3 of the pre-produced videos to show the style.
2. Will you provide scripts, or will scripting be required?
We will provide first draft scripts to give the 80% solution of what is to be conveyed. This is meant to guide the hosts commentary, not lock them into only reading the scripts.
Production & Filming - Questions
3. Will filming be required, or are you providing existing footage?
Filming will be required for Friday (once), three times Saturday, and three times Sunday. The filming for Friday will be to record a video for playback on Saturday and Sunday. The Saturday and Sunday filming will be for live interactions within the primary spectator area (within the crowd).

No aerial or drone footage expected or allowed by the contractor.
6. Will you provide access to aircraft, pilots, and other necessary on-screen subjects?
On-screen subjects will be provided for the Friday filming and the Saturday/Sunday "3 live interactions on-site". The "live interactions on-site" are to interview or film things taking place within the primary spectator area (within the crowd) based on Government direction. Examples are military working dog demonstrations, servicemember weapon break down/assembly competitions, and performer interviews.
