7. Attendees departed building 2401 at approximately 8:55 a.m. and boarded the government provided van heading towards the flight line. The Contracting Officer Representative (COR) pointed out that foreign object debris checks are no longer a requirement on the flight; however, are if the vehicle has been driven on unpaved surfaces the vehicle must be checked. The group toured the hangar at building 1809 where the deicing fluid recovery office area was previously located. The COR identified that the office space may change but was not certain when. A question was asked whether C-5s from Dover Air Force Base would be anticipated next year.
The COR responded that it is not anticipated during this period. The group departed the hangar at building 1809 at 9:14 a.m. and observed the flight line and the designated areas for deicing and fluid recovery. The group then departed the flight line at 9:25 a.m. and headed back to building 2401.
