About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers amendment to solicitation FA442726Q1011 for rental vehicles required for an air show at Travis Air Force Base.

The solicitation is a 100% Small Business Set Aside for a Firm Fixed Price contract. Offers must be priced and evaluated based on maximum quantities listed in Section 2.3 of the Statement of Work, with final vehicle quantities to be confirmed no later than April 1, 2026, and invoicing based on actual quantities provided. The prime contractor assumes full responsibility for all solicitation compliance and is the sole government point of contact, though multiple subcontracted rental vehicle providers may be utilized if all vehicles meet specifications and delivery timelines. The contractor must provide all insurance coverage, including commercial auto and liability insurance under standard commercial coverage requirements; the government provides no vehicle insurance. No contracted drivers are required—vehicles will be operated by authorized government personnel and airshow participants who must be at least 25 years of age, possess valid driver's licenses, and comply with U.S., California, and Travis AFB driving laws and regulations. Multiple drivers will be required, and the government is responsible for ensuring driver compliance with age and licensing requirements.
