About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract solicitation FA442726Q1010, a Combined Synopsis Solicitation issued by Travis Air Force Base for the Wings Over Solano Air Show. The solicitation concerns rental of tents, tables, and chairs for the event.

The document addresses two key operational questions. First, regarding teardown operations, contractors are not authorized to begin strike and removal operations prior to April 26, 2026. Teardown must begin no earlier than 1700 hours and must be completed by 2359 hours on April 26, 2026. Second, regarding tent anchoring systems, Travis Air Force Base has declined to provide a water truck or any water source for filling water-filled tent anchoring systems; contractors must therefore use concrete ballast or alternative anchoring methods to secure tents. These answers establish critical logistical constraints for potential bidders to incorporate into their proposals and cost estimates.
