About this file

This document is a Combined List of Pre-Bid Request for Information (RFI) for a Haz Mat Portable Storage Container dated 17 Sept 2025. The RFI seeks clarification on multiple aspects of a hazardous materials storage container, including specifications for a 170 sq. ft. minimum floor space unit. Key requirements include a self-contained dry chemical fire suppression system (preferably 2-hour fire rated), interior electrical rated for Class 1 Div 2 Hazardous Locations, and a center two-door configuration with a ramp for easy transfer of 55-gallon drums.

The project involves the 188th CE Squadron and 85th Fighter Group, with the squadron responsible for electrical connection and foundation. The proposed container should be approximately 22' x 8' and will require specific delivery logistics. The RFI highlights several open questions about precise container dimensions, fire rating, and exact specifications, indicating that potential bidders need to seek further clarification before submitting a proposal.
