About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details analytical and laboratory services for the Nuclear Power Training Unit (NPTU) at Joint Base Charleston, SC Weapons Station. The contractor is required to provide comprehensive analytical services for Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCB) and Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP) Metals testing, with specific requirements including:
Laboratory services must be NELAP-certified, adhere to strict quality standards, and follow prohibited practices guidelines. The Testing Matrix outlines various sample types including routine and special swipes, bilge oil, water, and solid matrix samples, with a 10-day turnaround time for most analyses. Maximum estimated quantities range from 5 to 216 samples across different testing categories, with the government paying only for completed analyses. The document was originally created on 23 October 2015 and updated on 2 May 2025, indicating an ongoing requirement for these critical environmental testing services supporting naval operations.
