Addendum 01

This Addendum forms a part and modifies the Bidding Requirements, Contract Forms, Contract

Conditions, Specifications and the Drawings dated 14 MAY 2021. The following changes, additions and/or deletions are hereby made a part of the Construction Documents for the above noted project, fully and completely as if the same were fully contained therein. All other terms, conditions, documents of the original documents or addenda for bidding shall remain unchanged.

SCHEDULE:

1. None

QUESTIONS:

1. From the pre-bid list of questions: “Q8. Sheet F-003 Detail 2 shows a foam inductor being installed. Is there adequate pressure for any loss that may happen with the installation of this item? A8. A forthcoming addendum will address this issue.”

2. See Drawings and Specifications changes below.

DRAWINGS (attached):

1. F-003, Detail 2 - FOAM SYSTEM ONE LINE DIAGRAM – TYPICAL FOR EACH HEF RISER:

Delete Detail 2 in its entirety – remove the requirement for new Atmospheric Foam

Concentrate Storage Tank, Foam Inductor and all associated new piping/valve work.

2. FD103,

a. Sheet Keynotes: Delete Keynotes DF4 and DF14 in its entirety.

b. First Floor Demolition Plan - Area C: Remove demo hatching as indicated

3. FD104, Detail 2 – FIRE SUPPLY PIPING DEMOLITION DETAIL: Remove demolition associated with the HEF System as noted on the red lined drawing.

SPECIFICATIONS:

1. Section 21 13 25 High-Expansion Foam System, Fire Protection

a. Delete all paragraphs and subparagraphs of the following sections and replace with “Existing to Remain”:

i. Section 2.4 Foam Concentrate Pipe and Fittings

ii. Section 2.5 Strainer

iii. Section 2.6 Foam/Water Flow Control Valves

iv. Section 2.9 Concentrate Storage Tank

v. Section 2.10 Foam/Water Proportioning Inductor
