Questions are due by March 30, 2026, at close of business, and bids are due no later than April 30, 2026, at 2:00 PM CST. Only hand-carried or mailed submissions (FedEx or UPS) are accepted, to be delivered to Building 90339, Attention: TSgt Shuler and Tina Kneip. Regular USPS mail will not be accepted.

Site Visit Summary – Demo Reef Facility, Building 90326 Date: 24 March 2026 Time: 10:00 local Attendees: Listed on separate sign-in sheet

General Overview A site visit was conducted at Building 90326, with full access to the facility, including interior areas. Photographs were permitted. The project involves the complete demolition of the building and surrounding site.

Responsibilities:

• Contractor – will remove and properly dispose of all remaining items within the building.

• Customer – will remove any items they wish to retain no later than 24 April 2026.

• CE – will notify relevant functional shops, Communications, and Fire Department personnel to remove cables, pull boxes, phones, monitors, and other items prior to the start of work.

Permits & Notices

• A 10-day notice is required to be filed for demolition.

• A separate 10-day notice is required for asbestos removal.

Environmental & Hazardous Materials

• Environmental Contact: Mr. Fred Javier

• Asbestos has been identified in the building; surveys for asbestos, lead, and other hazards will be provided.

• Mr. Javier will provide surveys for asbestos, lead etc.

• Hazardous materials (refrigerant, asbestos, lead, etc.) must be properly identified and disposed of.

• Construction & Demolition (C&D) reports are required.

• Base recycling and hazardous materials disposal sites are available to the

Contractor.

As-Built Drawings

• CE will provide the most recent as-built drawings, approximately 3 years old.

Site Considerations

• Parking Lot: Once the contract is awarded, the base Public Affairs office and local units must be notified that parking will be prohibited in the area during demolition/construction.

• Utilities: Any underground utility lines must be capped and closed off as part of the project.

• Landscaping: Trees and landscaping within the site area are to be removed.

• Concrete: Driveways and sidewalks must be removed. Contractors should submit questions which Contracting will forward to CE to verify which sidewalks and the extent of driveway removal.

Deadlines

• Questions: Due within 5 calendar days – Monday, 30 March 2026, COB

• Bids: Due no later than 30 April 2026, 2:00 PM CST

• Only hand-carried or mailed submissions are accepted (FedEx or UPS).

• Deliver to Building 90339, Attn: TSgt Shuler and Tina Kneip

• Regular USPS mail will not be accepted
