1) IAW PWS 1.4.1.7 you mention the vehicles need to “mimic” the weight and limited stopping and visibility characteristics associated with the armored vehicles. Does this mean that the vehicles do not need to fully up-armored i.e. protected battery and ECU, ballistic glass, runflats, plate steel throughout, etc as long as they have similar weight and limited stopping and visibility of an up-armored vehicle?

Answer: This section has been updated in Amendment 0001 to outline the standards required for the up-armored vehicle. Please see the revised PWS section 1.4.1.7 in Amendment 0001.

2) IAW PWS 1.4.1.7, If an actual, fully up-armored vehicle is required, what level of armor do you require, i.e. what caliber weapon do you want protection from?

Answer: This section has been updated in Amendment 0001 to outline the standards required for the up-armored vehicle. Please see the revised PWS section 1.4.1.7 in Amendment 0001.

3) How many days is the training for CLIN 0003, up-armored vehicles?

Answer: Each request for this CLIN will be single-day training course. PWS section 1.4.1.7 in Amendment 0001 has been updated to reflect this info.
