Minimum Requirements for Aqueous Parts Washer
Aqueous Parts washer must be compatible with any of the three cleaning compounds required:
AIR FORCE TO 4W-1-61 and AF DWG 9825019-21 Calla 296
DSF-1
SB 300 LFM
Adequate ventilation must be provided:
Mechanical ventilation systems must meet requirements of AFOSH STD 48-137.
Rinse Required:
Rinse cycle required following clean cycle.
Drying required:
Forced Air drying cycle immediately after rinse cycle.
Minimum weight capacity:
1500 lbs.
Interior minimum dimensions:
Turntable dimensions (dual turntable) - Two vertically stacked 60” W turntables X 30” H working area.
Interior width measurements of washer with door closed need to be provided to ensure clearance between turntable and doors/walls of washer to prevent dragging against wheel surface. Current washer has an interior working dimension of 65” W x 65” L with door closed.
Exterior Maximum Dimensions:
94” L x 94” W x 95” H. This height measurement includes the installation of a ventilation system. Current unit equipped with side mounted ventilation unit. A flexible duct is routed to an installed stationary duct through the wall, and to the exterior of the building.
Door requirement:
The door to the unit must have the hinge on the right side so that the door will open from left to right.
Wall power unit:
Maximum 600V/60AMP. Current unit is a 460V three phase unit.
