FA4417-16-R-0008__Protective Coating IDIQ Questions and Answers – Edition #1 Date: 14 June 16
Q-1. For subject IDIQ Painting Solicitation, will the full estimated amount of the contract have to be bonded up front (payment and performance bonds) even though that amount may not be awarded, or will each Task Order require a bond?
A-1. The Government is intentionally leaving it up to the contractor to meet the bonding capability. The contractor is allowed to provide a blanket bond. However, the contractor will need to meet the bonding requirements for each task order as required.
