About this file
This Performance Work Statement (PWS) details lodging requirements for Air Mobility Command's Mobility Guardian Exercise 2025 in Cairns, Australia. The contract is for accommodating approximately 170 individuals from 06 July 2025 to 27 July 2025, with room allocations varying between 2-10 single occupancy and 7-80 double occupancy rooms per night. Key requirements include providing rooms with operational locks, adequate heating/cooling, clean bedding, 24-hour check-in/check-out services, daily custodial services, and adherence to U.S. Defense Travel Management Office per diem rates. The Commercial Lodging Facility must ensure industry-standard housekeeping, maintenance, and customer service, with the government reserving the right to monitor performance and potentially deduct pricing for unsatisfactory services.
The PWS specifies strict guidelines for room assignments, with no more than two people per room and mandatory provisions like room keys, emergency evacuation plans, and "do not disturb" signs. Invoicing is to be consolidated and processed via Government Purchase Card or Electronic Funds Transfer, with the lodging facility responsible for securing payment for incidental charges directly from room occupants. The contract emphasizes quality assurance, with the contractor required to be available 24/7 and respond to service calls within one hour. Failure to meet contract standards could result in non-acceptance of services, price deductions, or potential contract termination.
