QUESTION 1 - PWS Paragraph 1.5.7.2. says an estimated average minimum of ten tows (monthly) is expected on the Scott Air Force Base side of the operating area. CLIN AC refers to Towing from Scott AFB to Mid-America Airport or from Mid-America Airport to Scott AFB. Are these different operations? Are there 10 per MONTH on the Scott AFB side and 10 per YEAR to/from the Mid-America side?
ANSWER: There are an estimated average minimum of ten tows per month on the Scott AFB side. Examples of these tows are moving an aircraft from one spot to another, or moving an aircraft into or out of the hangar for weather or other reasons. CLIN AC tows are as described in PWS Paragraph 1.9, Mid-America Services. See the map entitled "Scott AFB & Mid-America Runway/Ramps" at PWS Appendix 7.
