Summary

This Statement of Work (SOW) describes an electrical installation project at Building G832 (Ira C. Eaker Center for Leadership) at Maxwell AFB – Gunter Annex, Alabama. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, transportation, permits, and incidental items necessary to install fifteen (15) new 120-volt quad receptacles (4-in-1 outlets)—consisting of five (5) wall-mounted units and ten (10) flush floor-mounted brass units—at designated classroom and training locations. The project objectives include providing sufficient electrical access for modern classroom technology, improving classroom functionality, ensuring compliance with applicable electrical and life-safety requirements, minimizing disruption to scheduled training activities, and delivering a professionally installed electrical system.

The contractor must conduct a comprehensive site assessment prior to installation, including on-site walkthroughs, verification of outlet locations with the Government Point of Contact, evaluation of existing electrical infrastructure, circuit capacity assessments, and identification of any required new branch circuits, conduit installations, floor core drilling, or panel upgrades. All newly installed receptacles must be tested for proper voltage, polarity, ground continuity, and operation upon completion. Specific installation locations are identified across five rooms (Rooms 128, 125, and 140) and four seminar rooms, plus an open floor area adjacent to windows. The contractor must comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC), federal regulations, state and local codes, Maxwell AFB facility standards, OSHA requirements, and Department of the Air Force requirements. All electrical work must be performed by licensed and qualified electricians. The work must be completed within seven (7) calendar days after contract award, performed between 0630 and 1730 Monday through Friday, and coordinated to avoid disruption to classes. The contractor shall provide a minimum one-year workmanship warranty and deliver fully installed receptacles, updated electrical documentation, testing results, inspection records, and warranty documentation. Security requirements for on-base performance include contractor notification within 30 days before work begins, compliance with base access procedures including REAL ID requirements, adherence to antiterrorism measures, and compliance with traffic laws and installation policies.
