About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document addressing contractor inquiries regarding a federal construction project involving grease trap replacement and related improvements.

The government provided detailed specifications for a concrete pad measuring 10' x 9' with 4" thickness, #3 rebar at 18" on-center grid pattern or equivalent welded wire mesh with 2" cover/clearance, and a 2" compacted base course. Four bollards are required at each corner, set 36" above surface elevation with 1' depth, 4" diameter, filled with concrete, and painted bronze slate color, positioned 1'–6" on center using the pad's short side for dimensions. For millwork, all cabinetries must match existing specifications: MinWax-Classic Gray Weathered Oak stain with HiMacs solid surface color M201 Terni. As-built drawings will be provided at award with dimensions referenced in drawing A-102. The government will not provide complete construction documents for plumbing, civil, or architectural work but will provide as-built information and site utility maps. All utility locations and depths must be field-verified by the contractor. The most recent related award was contract number FA303022P0027 to XION Construction CO LLC for Replace Grease Trap B906 in the amount of $34,999 with a 90-day period of performance.
