Q&A

FA303025Q0002 – Elevator Maintenance

1. Is there an incumbent? If so, who is the incumbent and what is contract number?

The incumbent award is FA303020P0005 and was awarded to Innovative People and Technology Corporation.

2. Could the Government clarify how maintenance deficiencies will be addressed in terms of pricing? Specifically, will a separate purchase order be issued to address and correct such deficiencies if and when they arise?

CLIN 0003 – Over and Above Labor and the Options 1003, 2003, 3003 and 4003, are labor hour pricing only. If repairs are needed that require parts, the Government will purchase and supply these parts to the Contractor to perform these repairs under these CLINS.

3. Two units are TAC 20 with Lon. While we can perform Preventive Maintenance on these units, if they were to go down due to the Lon system, it is likely that returning them to service would be at best extremely time consuming. These units are obsolete and need to undergo a Modernization. Is the Government addressing Modernization in this solicitation?

The Government is aware of the aging systems, however Modernization of the elevators themselves will not be included in this contract.
