1. It was stated during the site visit that the contractor can knock out a specific portion of the block wall leading to the high bay. The contractor will be able to use the opening to remove debris and use a skid steer if needed. It was further stated that the government will reinstall the wall after the contractor completes the project. Can you confirm this is correct?

Concur. Refer to AD-101 keynote 17. This temporary opening is for the Contractor to use through construction to facilitate the movement of materials and equipment. It shall be secured after hours and left in place upon completion of the contract and in-filled by the Government at a later date. Existing tables and seating in the high bay can be moved by the Government if needed.

2. Please confirm the contractor can position a dumpster in the vicinity of the high bay, on the concrete, outside of one of the overhead doors.

Concur. Refer to specifications section 2.3 as this requires the Contractor to submit for approval a work plan indicating all items to be included in the Contractor laydown areas.

Refer to G-002 for recommended locations. It also to be noted that laydown areas will be permitted to be located closer to B3458 (as seen in G-002) to prevent damage to vegetated areas and avoid conflict with any known equipment in the area.

3. In the submittal register, please define ”G” and "S" classifications for submittals. Do all "G" and "S" classifications require submittals from the contractor?

CES Response – The “S” classification is no longer used by the Government and therefore should have been a “G” classification which requires Government approval.

4. On page G-003, item 11 of the Project Notes requires a temporary field office. Can the office be positioned near the dumpster just outside the high bay if it does not interfere with fire academy operations?

CES Response – The use of a “temporary field office” is solely to the discretion of the Contractor. Should the Contractor be inclined to have and use a field office on-site the Contractor will be required to submit on an AF 3000 the desired placement location of the office. The CES will then confer with the facility manager, wing safety, and GAFB FD for approval/disapproval.

5. Where can power be pulled from for the temporary field office?

CES Response – There are options on providing power to a temp office. However, without knowing what the power requirements for the office unit is, temp power cannot be definitively answered.

6. More information is needed so bidders understand the difference between the contractor's and government's scopes of work. There are references in multiple places that state details are shown for clarity only and that new work is to be completed by the government.

• Are bidders to assume that the government will purchase all new materials for work performed by the government? If not, please provide additional information for clarification.

CES Response – Yes. The Government will procure any and all items needed to perform their portion of the project.

• Are bidders to assume that all details shown with references to "new work to be performed by government" are shown for installation performed by the government and not for installation performed by the contractor? If not, please provide additional information for clarification.

CES Response – Yes. References to “new work to be performed by the Government” are shown for clarity and reference only. The Contractor will not be required to perform any work called out in the “Key Notes” with the beginning notation “Government shall”
