Wage Determination Summary
This document is a Register of Wage Determinations under the Service Contract Act issued by the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment Standards Administration, Wage and Hour Division. The wage determination (No. 2015-5157, Revision 29, effective March 30, 2026) applies to service contracts in Mississippi counties including Alcorn, Calhoun, Chickasaw, Choctaw, Clay, Itawamba, Lafayette, Lee, Lowndes, Monroe, Oktibbeha, Pontotoc, Prentiss, Tishomingo, Union, and Webster.
The determination establishes prevailing wage rates for 200+ occupational classifications across multiple service categories, ranging from administrative and clerical positions ($9.57–$25.05 per hour) to specialized technical roles such as Nuclear Medicine Technologist ($37.11 per hour) and Registered Nurse IV ($47.11 per hour). All covered employees receive fringe benefits including $5.55 per hour health and welfare costs (or $962.00 monthly), two weeks paid vacation after one year of service, and a minimum of eleven paid holidays annually. Computer professionals earning $27.63 or more per hour may be exempt under specific criteria. Air traffic controllers and weather observers receive night pay differentials and Sunday premiums at specified percentages. An 8% hazard differential applies to positions involving explosives and ordnance, while a 4% differential applies to lower-hazard explosive work. Uniform allowances of $3.35 per week are reimbursable if not furnished at no cost. The wage determination references Executive Orders 13706 (paid sick leave for contracts awarded January 1, 2017 or later) and 13658 (minimum wage requirements for contracts awarded between January 1, 2015 and January 29, 2022).
