About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for RFQ FA301626Q0089 issued by the Air Force for AFDTL Thermal Transfer Print Labels.
The requirement is for polypropylene thermal transfer print labels on rolls, with each roll containing 6,000 labels. Rolls must be perforated between each label according to specifications compatible with the CC2071 equipment. Labels will be applied to specimen containers that may be exposed to liquids, specifically urine, in a controlled temperature environment. The adhesive must be permanent. Packaging requirements are flexible as long as labels are delivered safely without damage. The government will order rolls as needed without minimum or maximum quantity restrictions, with ordering frequency determined by customer demand up to a maximum number of rolls per year. No specific gap/liner specification is required beyond standard perforation, and ribbon specifications are not included in this requirement. The document does not specify response dates, pricing terms, award dates, set-asides, or other formal solicitation parameters, as it functions solely to clarify technical requirements and expectations for offerors.
