About this file
This document is an Attachment 6 Questions and Answers file for a federal contract opportunity to refresh auditorium chairs at JBSA Lackland's Carter Hall. The cutoff date for contractor questions is 10:00am CST on 18 March 2025. Three questions were addressed by the government, providing clarification on specific requirements: (1) "Stationary" means chairs are bolted to the floor, with foldable seat portions; (2) different chair styles are required for each location due to varying dimensions, as referenced in the Salient Characteristics and Attachment 7 Pictures; and (3) there is a confirmed break in the rows for building 191 auditorium, as shown in Attachments 3 and 7.
The solicitation (FA301625Q0083) is for the 343rd Training Squadron (TRS) Security Forces Training program, which graduates over 5,000 students annually. The RFQ is due on 21 March 2025 at 10:00am CST, with contractors required to submit specification sheets and pictures with their quotes. The project aims to update the outdated and nonfunctioning Carter Hall auditorium to provide a proper venue for distinguished visitors, guests, and graduates, under the Department of the Air Force Air Education and Training Command.
