ANNEX, TX
06 January 2022
1. SCOPE OF WORK. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and any other items and services necessary to provide anti-microbial surface protection in support of the Special Warfare Training Squadron’s (SWTS) training locations defined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS). Conduct anti-microbial treatments every 90 days for all areas listed, except for 5570 building, which needs to be treated 5 times per year. The treatments will be at buildings: 107, 126, 127, 147, 150, 241, 242, 4903, 4908, 4966, 4967, 4968, 4969, 4985, 5570 (SW Prep Area), 5570 (PJ Area), Temporary Combat Conditioning Center (Temp CCC), TORCH site temporary housing (tents), equipment storage containers, and include rucksacks, vests, and sleeping bags up to 200 sets per treatment within JBSA-Lackland, and Chapman Training Annex, TX. Sanitation Services will prevent the spread of bacterium and viral pathogens that would negatively impact the SWTS training regimen and supporting functions. The purpose of this requirement for sanitation services is to prevent Methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) which is a bacterium that penetrates the blood stream and can spread the bacteria easily. A person infected with MRSA is hard to cure and can be fatal.
In addition to treating MRSA the disinfectant must also be able to prevent (example Covid-19, SARS, etc.). Sanitation services that the contractor will provided will prevent personnel and trainees in designated locations from being infected by listed bacterium and viral pathogens.
Applying the anti-microbial spray will destroy them at the microbial level and places a barrier, which prevents recontamination of the surface for at least 90 days. The anti-microbial spray will disinfect the gyms, lockers, showers, restrooms, storage units and common areas. This requirement will create a safe and healthy environment enhancing the training environment.
Work performed must be in a manner that limits any disruptions to the normal day-to-day operations of Air Force personnel at the site. There could be a potential for adding new buildings in the future for courses expanding, the shifting of trainees/personnel to new location due to circumstances form their current locations.
