About this file
This is an Addendum 1 to a federal contract for HVAC replacement work at Keesler Air Force Base in Mississippi, dated May 6, 2026.
The contract concerns the replacement of Air Handling Units (AHUs) 2, 5, 6, and 7 at Building B701, 500 Fisher Street, Keesler AFB, Mississippi (Project Number MAHG251074, Contract FA301026R0007). The addendum documents an unforeseen condition discovered during the removal of AHU 6 under a separate project contract: the concrete curb supporting the AHU is positioned only 6 to 8 inches above an existing lightweight concrete slab. While this condition was observed at AHU 6, it is not known whether this condition exists under all AHUs, though it could potentially be present at other locations. The addendum formally notifies all contractors of this unforeseen condition and requires them to account for it in their work planning. This addendum takes precedence over conflicting conditions in the specifications, drawings, and other contract documents. All changes identified in drawings are to be incorporated across all applicable architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical drawings.
