About this file

This document is an Additional Questions and Answers attachment for the MAHG22-1063: Construct Troop Walk solicitation, dated 18 August 2025, with contract number FA301025R0019. The document contains two clarification questions from potential contractors regarding specific project details.

The first question seeks confirmation about the type of coating to be applied to the Mathies Hall parking lot, with the contractor being instructed to follow the existing specifications. The second question addresses the requirement for Military Service Seals and Insignias, with the government specifying that the contractor will be responsible for providing the necessary stencils for completing this application. The document appears to be part of the ongoing procurement process for a construction project, likely for a military installation, providing supplemental guidance to potential bidders.

MAHG22-1063: Construct Troop Walk

Additional Questions and Answers

1. In looking at the SOW (3.2.4.2.2), the verbiage reads “Apply seal coat evenly across the entire Mathies Hall parking lot.” In the specs, it mentions slurry coat. From what we understand, slurry coat is something done more up North and is not done down in this region. Can you confirm that slurry coat is what is asked?

The Contractor is to follow the specifications.

2. In terms of the Military Service Seals and Insignias – will there be a stencil made to complete this application?

The Contractor will be responsible for providing the stencils.
