Flightline150LB Wheeled Halon 1211 Fire Extinguisher Solicitation Questions

FA301025Q0037

Q1: Would you be opposed to allowing our company to Hydrotest & Refill the extinguishers on site for you all? We have a large trailer where we do all the testing and refilling of portables and wheel units, so that would be ideal if we could. If not, we understand.

A1: Reference Statement of Work secƟon 1.1.

Q2: Would our company be responsible for providing the government the Halon 1211 chemical for potential refills or will the government handle that?

A2: Reference Statement of Work para. 1.

Q3: Is the amount price a total for the service applied to all 54 units? For example: 0001 – unit price = $10 then the amount would be $540? And does this apply to 0002 and 0003 also? My concern with line items 0002 and 0003 would be that not all are due every year.

A3: Yes, it’s the amount price for total of the service applied to each unit. Item 0001 is a fixed price of the annual inspecƟon with replacement parts and labor performed. Item 0002 is a fixed price of the 6-year maintenance inspecƟon with replacement parts and labor performed. Item 0003 would be if parts or labor are required outside of the annual or 6-year inspecƟons.

Q4: 0003 “replacement parts and labor” not for sure what exactly this needs to include. All replacement parts required for the 6-yr maintenance would be included in the service price listed.

A4: Yes, any extra parts or labor required outside of the annual or 6-year inspecƟons.
