About this file
This document is a Solicitation Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for Solicitation FA301025Q0037 related to Flightline150LB Wheeled Halon 1211 Fire Extinguishers. The Q&A addresses three key clarification points from potential vendors regarding service requirements, specifically focusing on monthly reporting, hydro-testing, and annual service expectations.
The key clarifications include: (1) Monthly reports are only required when fire extinguishers are actually serviced, and no invoice is needed if no services are performed; (2) Hydro-testing must be included in the overall cost and is considered more labor-intensive than 6-year maintenance; and (3) Annual service inspections are performed per fire extinguisher and are distinct from monthly inspections. The document references the Statement of Work (SOW) paragraphs 7 and 2.1 for additional context on these service requirements.

Flightline150LB Wheeled Halon 1211 Fire Extinguisher Solicitation Questions, Part 2
FA301025Q0037
Q1: Your paper work mentions that you want a monthly report of inspections done but you did not provide a place for charges for Monthly inspections.
A1: Monthly report will be based on the number of Fire Extinguishers serviced. If you don’t service any Fire Extinguishers, a monthly report is not needed or invoiced. See SOW, para 7.
Q2: Your paper work mentions Hydro-testing but you did not provide a place for Hydro-testing pricing. Hydro-testing is much more labor intense than 6 year maintenance and would require a different price.
A2: See SOW, para 2.1. Hydro-testing needs to be included in the cost.
Q3: You did request pricing for Annual service but please clarify if you also want Monthly inspections.
A3: The annual service is not based on monthly inspection. The annual inspection is per Fire Extinguishers.
