Section L - Instructions, Conditions, & Notices to Offerors or Quoters

The following clauses were modified:

52.236-27 Alternate I - Site Visit (Construction). (Alternate I) Feb 1995 hereby reads as follows:

As prescribed in 36.523 , insert a provision substantially the same as the following:

Site Visit (Construction) (Feb 1995)

(a) The clauses at 52.236-2, Differing Site Conditions, and 52.236-3, Site Investigations and Conditions Affecting the Work, will be included in any contract awarded as a result of this solicitation. Accordingly, offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed.

(b) An organized site visit has been scheduled for 31 August 2022 at 10:00 am CST. This will be the only site visit that is offered for this solicitation. For questions regarding the site visit, please contact:

Ms. Raquele Darden 81st Contracting Squadron 310 M Street BLDG 4605 Keesler AFB, MS 39534 228-377-1818

(c) While not currently required, all site visit attendees should anticipate wearing face covering/mask, covering their nose and mouth, when inside buildings or unable to maintain 6 feet of distance. All individuals are to maintain a minimum of six (6) feet distance from other individuals to the maximum extent practicable at all time. All site visit participants MUST have a base pass in order to attend. Unless you already have base pass access, a pass must be obtained from the Keesler AFB Visitor Center. In order to gain access to the base to attend the site visit, you must have a valid US Government issued photo identification, and if driving, current vehicle registration and insurance document. A background check will be conducted on all individuals requesting a pass. An email containing full name (as it appears on their identification card) of each attendee who needs a base pass must be sent to 81CONS.LGCB.Construction@us.af.mil by 2:30 PM CST 30 August 2022.

Participants may pick up their pass from the Visitors Center at the Division Street Gate entrance to Keesler AFB as early as 6:00 AM CST, 30 August 2022 up to at least 1 hour before the site visit is scheduled. Visitors Center hours of operation are Monday through Friday 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. It is highly recommended to arrive at the Visitors Center at least 1 hour before the scheduled start time of the site visit as the average wait times at the Visitors Center can range from 45 - 90 minutes. The Visitor Center is normally the least busy between the hours of 6:00 AM – 9:00 AM. Please plan to get your base pass early, as we will not delay the site visit start time due to waiting on participants to get their pass.

Participants will meet on the north side of the Contracting Office Building 4605 underneath the oak tree on 31 August 2022 @ 10:00 AM CST. A sign in sheet will be available followed by short introductions and briefing before traveling to the individual sites by bus.
